Since I seem to be stuck in a scrapbooking rut, I have decided to dabble into another craft and that is molding with polymer clay. I joined a workshop late last year and have been trying to practice for sporadically for some months now. Most of my creations are food-themed since that’s what was taught to us during the workshop. I tried making a chibi too but I was not that successful. Some friends also requested that I make baby-themed stuff like a pacifier and baby jogger city select 2012 stroller. That will happen soon.
I have accumulated a number of tools, cutters and molders and tried to experiment on some materials too. Obviously, I do major hoarding and not much creating. *sigh* But let me show you some of my few finished creation using oven-baked and air-dry polymer clays.

Obviously, I have been reunited with Pinterest again. As much as I try to ignore it, it keeps on pulling me back to its awesome collection of visual surprises and wonders. It certainly is, a nice way to waste time. I always rarely feel guilty whenever I use my time browsing through the various Pinterest users’ collection that I follow. I am finding inspiration for work and hobby and for me, that’s a good excuse to waste time on Pinterest. And I am always amazed at how I end up into one website or blog after visiting a blog I found on Pinterest. One of my friends found the perfect 5th wheel warranty while hopping from one website she found on Pinterest to another that caught her fancy. Today, here’s a nice find that I know my daughter will enjoy:
It’s a build-your-own cupcake template! No mess, no ants to worry about! Go and visit Jessica’s blog to download for free!
Very soon, I will be adding a new name to my ever growing list of godchildren. The youngest one will be baptized two months from now. Her first-time mom and I have been frantically searching and brain-storming to come up with a good theme. That is why I am thankful for the Internet. The ideas and suggestions available are overwhelming! We still can’t decide yet but our rounds led us to some easy to do and fab decorating ideas using the humble tissue/ crepe papers.
