Yup, you’ve read it right: EMBROIDERED EGGS.
To create these beauties, the artist dipped the eggs into liquid sodium silicate and used a Dremel drill to make the holes.

Meet Ziggy, a three-year old Pekingese painter. He is a true artist, claims his mom, Elizabeth Monacelli of Fallbrook. He spends an hour or so painting and then sits back to admire his masterpiece. His original paintings are sold for $20 to $50 while postcard copies can be bought at 50 cents each.

An artist named Qiao Lianchun and twenty-five other artists are claiming the Guinness world record for the longest piece of embroidery. Their masterpiece was inspired by the classic Chinese painting named ‘Along the River during Qing Ming Festival’ and is made of a 3, 150,000 stitches. It used 50,000 meters of thread, in 120 different colors. Qiao Lianchun and company finished this piece of art for two long years. Their creation will be sold at $500,000 once they receive their Guinness record.
