I like shopping at the Personal Creations website as I can easily customized the designs to fit the recipients’ taste and personality. Moreover, the vast collection of gift ideas give me more options to choose from on varied occasions.

I am a Sanguine and as such, I have this tendency to hoard things related to an interest. Whenever I start a project or hobby I usually load up on materials, supplies and even books about the the current interest. When I began being hooked on polymer clay, I also started hoarding molders and cutters. I haven’t done much project yet but if you ask me, I have one giant box where I store my tools and supplies for the craft. And then I saw this today:

camera cookie cutters from PhotojojoThese are cookie cutters from Photojojo and a set costs $18. Really nice, eh? And I want one! But since I have a self-imposed moratorium on shopping for more tools,  I have yet to use my newly acquired tools prior to adding more. Here is the list of my to-do projects using polymer clay for now:

  • Decorate our ceramic switch plate covers  using my tiny floral and ribbon molders.
  • Create textured name plates with my stampers and new texture plates.
  • Make macaroon charms using my new molder.
  • Cover and decorate a small, rounded box.
  • Try framing a photo with polymer.

We all want to live a long life. And to achieve that, we have to live a healthy lifestyle. We need to care for our emotional health, eat healthy, exercise and take a lot of rest and good sleep. Speaking of sleep, I am happy to report that last night, I had a good 11-hour sleep. It is a good thing since I have been having trouble sleeping for many weeks now. It was a restful one and upon waking up, I felt that I can take on whatever the world hands me today.

One thing that helped me have a good sleep is what I did yesterday: I changed our linens! It certainly feels great to lie in bed with fresh linens. It promotes good sleep. When I did a quick inventory, I realized that we need new sets since I getting bored with the old ones’ designs and colors. Moreover, I think that we also need new pillows as the old ones are sagging and old. I saw some really nice ones at the mall last weekend and I will start saving up for them. I was hoping to find some Goose pillows but the sales attendant informed me that they have none. Well, I saw some really nice ones from The White Company. I enjoyed browsing their online store which is very organized and easy to navigate. It sure is a haven for all our bedroom needs and essentials.

That sounds nice! Don’t you think? :)

I found something that my husband would surely love (that is, if I know how to bake. Hahaha!). It is a Marvel ™ Cakelet Pan, complete with Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine and The Incredible Hulk! This nifty pan is made of cast aluminum with premium nonstick finish. It does not rust and because of its nonstick finish, it releases your cake fast and each character comes out nicely done and precisely detailed. Marvel Cake Pan

Marvel ™ Cakelet Pan is available at Williams-Sonoma for $39.95.

One of my progressive tasks since last month is backing up my files, specifically our photos from 2005 up to the present. While doing so, I can’t help but feel melancholic when I see the old photos of our family, especially my daughter’s baby photos. I feel more guilty when I realized that I many of those photos are not printed yet. I envy a friend of mine who is very up to date with her children’s photo albums. She just gave birth last month and I think that the best gift to give her newborn, to the delight of his mom is a photo album baby boy. I know she will surely appreciate it and will find it useful in storing photos and keeping memories of the newest member of their family.
